Prof Ben Nwabueze has retriated his statement once again in Enugu while welcoming Atiku Abubakar the Presidential candidate for PDP come 2019 General Election who paid him a courtesy visit.
Prof Ben said that Atiku is the only hope of Igbos. Only him can help Igbos to be free from Nigeria if truly they, want to go.
He said he's never against the Biafra agitation led by Nnamdi Kanu but will always, as an elder follow the due protocols.
He said ndi igbo have been marginalized in all ramifications and he strongly believes Atiku will put that marginalization to end.
In his words he said "Atiku my brother from another mother you're welcome to igbo Land, I strongly believe you're the right person to save Nigeria and Nigerians from the hand of this, APC caliphate.
Only you can stop the marginalization of ndi igbo. Only you can help us to be free if really ndi igbo wants to leave Nigeria.
Thank you for putting Nigeria unity first in your choice of Vice president, thank you for everything you have done so far. I believe you will do more when eventually elected".
Recall Prof Ben Nwabueze is one of those, agitating for restructuring.
